#186 This is N649529 and was sold new at Roger Budd in Valdosta GA to David Griffin. To my knowledge this is the only known Hugger Orange COPO Camaro with a black vinyl top and Ivory interior. This is a former Reggie Jackson car. K. Alford had it at MCACN in '19 in the Day 2 Display.

#187 This is N637392 and was sold new at Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring MD. This car has a TH400 with a column shifter. It was restored by Legendary Motorcar and there are a bunch of pictures on their website of the restoration. I don't know if any of the drivetrain is original to the car or not. D. Frederick had it at MCACN in '19 as part of the Class of '69 Display.

#189 This is ZL-1 #12 and it was sold new at Stauffer Chevrolet in Scranton PA to Dr. Fred Tucci. In '76 as an 18 year old Ed Martin saw an add for this car and along with his brother drove from California to New York to purchase this car and trailer it home. This car still has it's original sheetmetal and interior along with it's original transmission and rear. It does have a CE block and was repainted. Ed had this car at MCACN in '19 as part of the Class of '69 Display.

Ed: I still don’t know how we missed each other at MCACN!!! Also can you share the muscle car magazine article about your car? I clearly remember some of the story.... Ryan W31 |

#190 This COPO Chevelle is B383619 and was sold new at Earl Evans in Painesville OH. Prior to it's restoration in '19 this car was Magenta with a black vinyl top and ribbon graphics. It's my understanding that this car was stolen early in it's life and when it was recovered it's original engine and transmission were gone. Grady Birch had this car at MCACN in '19 as part of the Class of 69 Display.

Here is another picture of B394683. This car was sold new at Brewers Chevrolet in Campton KY to Leon Noble. This car was restored by Roger Gibson and I believe it still has it's original drivetrain. Van Hurst had this car at MCACN in '19 as part of the Muscle Car Review Cover Display for the Class of '69. This is one of my favorite COPO Chevelles.
