Hmmm, I think I recognize this. Did you grab this off of RK’s website? Hey Bruce - do you remember this car at the Pavillions? Does this jog your memory? Recognize the guy in the “beater” ‘70 Chevelle? |

Quick on the draw Dan!!!!! Thanks! We had some real fun on that shoot. John Hill, Angie, Eddie M, and Jeff Koch.
“If the cars start to drift together during the burnout, you break right and I’ll break left”. - yeah that would have worked!!! After 20 seconds both cars were completely obscured by the smoke!!:eek2::hmmm: |

The magazines came out in February 2004, March 2004 and commentary in May 2004. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...1.jpg~original http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...1.jpg~original Jeff was also working for Johnny Lightning at the time. They were planning on bringing out a new miniature of a 1965 GTO and asked if he could use the artwork of our photoshoot on the packaging. Naturally we said yes and received a couple boxes of these as a thank you. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3.jpg~original http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...6.jpg~original |

The next time I was at his desk he pulled out one of those Johnny Lightning models, still in the packaging. “That’s my car” I said. “I know, right?” He replied. “It looks just like yours”. “No” I said. “I mean that is MY car!” I had to approach it from a couple different angles for him to get what I was trying to convey.
