I don't get it.

I post pictures here in the tutorial and they show up, in the 62 impala thread they only show up in the preview and then when I submit it turns back into the IMG blah blah blah.....

Picture question please, sorry if lingo's incorrect?
When pics are posted using Photobucket etc, deleting them from the host later blanks out images from appearing as posted in a thread...right?
But if using the new 5'th box over and downloading pics directly from your computer successfully, is the site then hosting the image and it will show as posted in the thread even if later deleted it from your computer?
