GM Truck Engineering and Marketing had a relationship with a big farmer in Illinois by the name of Stoney Adkins.

I don't think Chevrolet provided his trucks (I think he just was a big buyer of fleet vehicles) but a lot of the ads in the 1970's and 1980's with this kind of flavor were taken at Stoney's place.

We use that Frisco train photo for promotion at our Texas NCRS Regional in Frisco, TX. I have no idea if it's related to the small town north of Dallas that is now a big town.

Notice the seat belt hanging out of the Blue rag top.

I'm virtually certain a friend here in WI owned the Gold SS convert in the photo. He bought it via a broker in CA probably 25 years ago. Bumper missing but VE3 brackets still attached.

In the 1967 GM promo film, at around the 11:05 mark, did anyone notice the print out showing the test car was using a quart of oil roughly every 900 miles?
