2017 Amelia Island
As some of you know from the recent thread in the lounge section, "Camaros at Amelia Island" Grady was invited to be part of the Camaro display with the Brown COPO car. He is not back home yet and will have more on the show later, and pictures. I did not go with him, some family stuff here.
The car was awarded a Red ribbon, "Award of distinction" Here is one teaser shot of Grady coming to the show field. |
Sure looks old school -- yeller' bars and all!! TAZ
|
Good golly, that just looks fine and FINE!
|
Whew, that Camaro is one of my absolute favorites as I'm a big BB fan, and the Day Two touches are pure perfection on it.
|
Stunning! Love it! Congrats to Mike and Grady for yet another wonderful award and soooooo deserving :D
"Day2" Rocks! Dan |

Grady's car looks fantastic and sinister! Congrats on the award, well deserved.
|
Great work!
My question, that noone probably can answer, is how did a dealership in the small town of Lebanon find out about COPOs? |
Very very cool! Must have been a sight to behold, coming in making noise like only a Day Two BB Chevy can make...:3gears:
Well done Grady ...and Mike!! BIG |
Congratulation looks killer Bob.......well deserved
|
Thanks Mike, and those other cars at Pebble were ridiculously cool as well.
|
Congrats G.and M. The car would look cool at Beech Bend SCR20 on the drag strip at the starting line for a photo op !

Daaaaaaaaaamn !

Great job Grady and Mike!

Grady, I can only imagine the looks you got when you were parking the car on the judging field. Also kudos to Mike for his big part in restoring this masterpiece!!!

We think it was ordered to race. And Lebanon and York are not that far apart. When I restored the car it was clear it was never driven in foul weather based on the condition of the sheet metal and original trim. The OE rear bumper is still on the car. Go back to pg. 15 post #144 in this thread and read the post by "browncopo" Cliff the 4th owner of this car. Mike |
