You want Ponchos...here's a pair for you... you'll never see two of these parked side by side again in your life time! 1967 Pontiac 2+2's both 428 HO's 4 speed converts.

A week after I brought it to Maryland from Pittsburgh back in 03. Cleaned it up real good and took it's first picture.
Side pipes are gone now. Back to stock exhaust system. Cleaned up nice for being original un-restored. |

Could one of these be it? Sweet Pontiacs! |
Re: Show the killer shot
Nope....That's hard to believe....That was 5 years ago....The car still had a 2 inch thick coat of Ziebart under the hood
|
Re: Show the killer shot
Steve....good eye, you're right the red 2+2 convert is Arnold's. The Plum Mist GP is his also....how do you know Arnold? He is one of my very good friends also!

Arnold and I are both into the SS427 Impalas. His blue 68 SS427 ragtop is almost the twin of ours, and is even built at the same factory!

Re: Show the killer shot
Here's a rare one. Not a super shot by any stretch, as I had no control of the background. This is one of 4(four) 70 Canadian Pontiac 2+2's built with an LS5 454. We know of 2 others that still exist.

This is sooooo cool. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ouguysrock.gif There are a lot of very nice cars here. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif I kinda like this one from the magazine shoot. It definitely looks better when it's not on a flatbed!!!!

If you look closely across the lake you can see the old Lonz Winery structure on Middle Bass Island where the concrete patio collapsed about 4 or 5 years ago during the summer which was very tragic and some people were killed. I think it made national news.. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j...icture1128.jpg Rich |
Re: Show the killer shot
That Put-in-Bay is some place isn't it? Been going there every year the weekend after the Fourth of July for 18 years now.

I took this one in 1979. This was my brother-in-law after I let him race it for the first time at 16. That grin on his face lasted for days!

------Thats kind of what I thought. The place has changed quite a bit since I had "Red Alert" there back in 1991/2, and all for the better. I stopped in while Goodguys were there this past summer and enjoyed myself a bunch. Especially like the swimming pool idea!!!......Bill S
