Is that for the frame or the rear? I am looking for a black to use on my Nova subframe. I want to get it close to what was used originally as far as the sheen goes. I used the stuff from Eastwood already and it seems too shiny. Maybe some of the Yenko crowd has some suggestions as well? Thanks for all the pictures and future info Bill.

Got the chassis finished, so I spent a few evenings re-doing some of the interior pieces like the kick panels, rear side panels, dash and gauges etc.. I won't need them for a while, but they're done, and ready to install when the time comes.

Here's the before and after of the refurbish the console project.

Quick update for some of you stuck inside with cabin fever. Got the NOS air shocks (thanks Greg) and air lines installed.

Got the wheels painted (what a pain in the a$$) and 5 new G-70-14 redlines. I installed the u-joints on the drive shaft last night. Front end/disc brakes are finished. Many interior parts are re-done and ready to go back after paint. Some of the engine brackets, PS, etc, parts are done. Everything in the rear end is finished. Motor is next. Then on to the body work when I get some real energy going

Any time Jed. I can have the body there in 2&1/2 hrs, I'll bring your 1/2 of a frame home and have it back to you in a couple weeks. As long as you have the ElCamino is painted by then.

Steve, ya just have to go out there every night and get something done, no matter how much you wanna play on the computer. . I was outside in my driveway on New Years eve, spray painting new u joints under the flood lights when it was 25 degrees outside. The neighbors thought it was a little strange when they came home, but their used to this kind of thing. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
