--------Tommy,,,Not criticism, really, unless its criticism of myself. Are those the correct style brake drums??? Both of the two 69 Zs I have done have had finned drums. What I know about Camaros is slim and I may be being sold the wrong stuff and not even know it,,,LOL!!!.........Bill S

Rear drums look right to me... 4 wheel drum brake cars had finned front drums I believe, maybe that's what you're thinking of? Love the color combo... original blue guts make the car... so much cooler than basic black!

Constructive criticism? OK, here goes.....that certainly must be a fake 69 Z28 because it is missing the cross-ram and 4 wheel disc brakes.

Beautiful car and a great resto job. I'll jump on the bandwagon as well: I love the blue guts. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Looks incredible!!

Where did you get your exhaust system?

Thanks everyone for the comments!

The exhaust system is from Gardner exhaust. That chambered exhaust sounds wicked!

Scuncio, I'm not sure what Tom used for undercoating. He does Rick's (SS427) cars also, maybe he could chime in...

Darren, my dad did the lift brackets and I believe he used Krylon semi-flat black. I'm torn between a natural finish, orange and black. We went with black after looking at at the pics of Kenny Pascoe's old 18K mile green Z/28.

Re: 69 Z progress

The crossram was tempting, It seems like you can make an $80,000 Z/28 into a $130,000 Z/28 by adding a $6,000 repo crossram. RS's are the same way. With me dad having owned the car for over 20 years, we restored the it, to the best of our knowledge, the way it left the factory...
