Re: First Car
57 chevy. 2 door hard top belair. 265 4 bbl powerglide. Was primrose pink with a white top. After a little fender bender had it painted Lemans blue with Mickey Thompsen chrome slots, chrome shackle extensions, and a audio vox reverb box. Still got a project car like this that I need to get to some day. Maybe if you have projects to finish, you'll live forever. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

My first is attached (still can't figure out how to insert a pic). 20 years later I still have it and enough NOS parts to build it twice over. Maybe next summer it'll get done.

Re: First Car
57 Chevrolet Belair Post. 66 Corvette Marina Blue with Silver and black interior. 327 with double hump heads and a Duntov 30/30 solid lifter cam shaft and a M-21 4spd. Factory Cast iron Corvette square bore intake and a Holley.
Station wagon rear bumper so I could shave the deck lid except for the Gold V. Duals straight out the back...always too long on the tri-5's... and burnt my calfs way too many times...OUCH! Sure do miss that car... My dad and I started the project when I was 13...sold it to buy a 71 Camaro. I need to have my head examined! |

Re: First Car
Man, this is going to be embarrassing! '67 Mustang coupe,200-six/3spd. Worse yet is that it was a 'White Hall fast-car'... lug adaptors for fat alum. slots on rear only, stock caps on front, and air shocks. Some body get me a gun!
