And according to Mark, they have fixed the ignition problem, so ought to really be hauling A$$ at SCR8. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

FWIW:

If you would really like to pull the best out of yourself and your car on the drag strip, start up a grudge match against someone https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

I have analyzed the data from the 1/4 mile runs on my car, 20 in all - including the 3 with the old cam. My best data is from the Yenko Deuce Shootout between Frank and myself!

My best reaction time was in Round 1 of elim's against Frankie: .084 (Frankie had a .008 light in Round 3!).

My best 60' ever was in Round 2 against Frankie: 2.290 (Frankie had a 2.277 in Round 2!)

My best 330', 1/8, 1000' were also in Round 2 vs. Frankie.

My best 1/4 ET was in Round 2 vs. Frankie with a 14.537, (Frankies was also in round 2 with a 14.255), and MPH was in Round 1 vs. Frankie with a 97.05mph (Frankie had a 98.72 in round 2).

So, if you are willing to put some pressure on yourself, you might be surprised with your next timeslip - regardless as to who got the win light https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Just curious... what kind of RPMs are you turning at 97mph with an E7014 and a 4:10 gear?

I don't recall the exact rpm, but it was around 5500 to 5800 - not as high as you might think! COPOPete says that the magical rpm for this combo is 6000, but I seem to have an itchy shifter-hand and always seem to hit it too early..... just more excuses from the loser https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Mine feels like its turning that many RPMs at 40 mph... although the tach proves otherwise... To drive it on the highway it feels like it should have about 2 more gears...always looking for that 5th gear thats not there! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
