The date on the tag looks a bit funky to me as well.

Re: COPO Camaro
Maybe if it was correctly painted black it wouldn't be so blatantly fake looking...

Re: COPO Camaro
Did the L-72 COPO (Yenko, etc) engines have a 19Nxxxxxx stamped on left lower bellhousing flange in ALL cases, or were some VIN's stamped on Deck along with Tonawanda assy date????? .....and if so then should not this CAJUN COPO have the car vin stamped on bellhousing flange.....regardless of block being decked

Re: COPO Camaro
So.....am I correct in thinking that A DEALER bought the "Cajun Camaro" and is now hyping it on EBAY......I wanted to work with the original private seller, but he just would not/could not cooperate in providing FACTS.....

Re: COPO Camaro
Theres probably a reason for that but I can't tell if this is a dealer, or an owners representative that has the car up for auction.

Re: COPO Camaro
the dealer is probably trying to "broker" the car for the owner...so now they "paint " the cowl tag to make it look originalhttps://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
....and has a "BV" rear end https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif ...but it is a nice restoration https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
