Re: Site with some good parts
69Z, i got the same reply about payment. I have not ever made a check out to two people when buying parts. Maybe part of the scam, the other guy is who he sends the money too. Then it is gone! The water is getting very cold, and i am not going to jump in. I can find parts elsewhere. Roger

Proceed with caution!
Hello, I'm new here visiting from Team Camaro. This kind of stuff really gets to me and prompted me to register. Check the copy and paste of my response on the TC thread regarding this guy:
I did a reverse phone number lookup at www.anywho.com and that ph # is listed to a K McDonald at 126 E Main St in Abingdon VA-he didn't even spell the name of the town correctly!! And the www.usps.com web site says the addresses he gives in the TC ad and for payment on the yenko thread do not exist, hmmmm.... The Team Camaro ad now appears to be deleted, but it listed a contact phone number and address other than the one listed above for payment FWIW. |
Re: Proceed with caution!
Brett, The ad is still on Team Camaro.

Re: Proceed with caution!
AL (Team Camaro/Team Chevelle site owner) is doing some background type things on the seller and has given him a deadline to answer some questions that not only those here have asked but members of his board have asked also. When the ads disappear from both Team Camaro and Team Chevelle sites you will know that the seller failed to provide the info Al requested.

Re: Proceed with caution!
I think it's safe to say this guy's cover is blown. Anyone who sends him money is just looking to give it away. Let's get some boys over to his place and educate him on messing with the wrong crowd.. Motown.. This is your dept.

Re: Proceed with caution!
I did a request abt. his 69 quarters, he promptly sent me pictures, and total amount incl. shipping to a friend of mine in US. But it stinks, so iŽll leave it to him to try and fool someone else. NEW |
Re: Site with some good parts
Some one that lives close should go knock on the door of the address he lists to receive payments at and see if it is real or a mail drop at someplace like Mailbox's INC. or something. Someone should get the US mail involved in this as it is mail fraud. Some how somewhere this guy has to receive the money by mail or his scam will not work. I only wish he was close to me as I would love to do the legwork on this one.
