Marlin, sounds like you are headed for the dreaded HOT SEAT, Trying to get people to stop posting! If you keep it up you will be writing to yourself, won't be anyone left on the site but you (LOL),Mr Kloneco, don't be offended, man if you can't take constructive critisism you need to hide in a closet or something.Don't worry until you start getting PRIVATE e mails from someone that is really MAD at you. These guys on here like to keep the conversations constructive for the most part, not destructive, although they get a little Funny from time to time. These guys have a lot of KNOWLEDGE that can help people out, and have radar that can detect BULL$&^*% at 5 klicks away.As far as your comment about smoking not staining the inside of a vehicle, well IT REALLY DOES!!I was a smoker for toooo many years and I have to say I ruined the inside of a few vehicles from all the smoke, looked like yellow tint on the windows.Just go into someones car or home that smokes a lot and you CAN tell the DIFFERENCE.Don't get me wrong I don't knock people that smoke, that is their right to do so,Charlie even lets his dogs have a cigar from time to time. The only thing that smokes around my house is my A$$ when I spend too much money on car parts!! So KLONECO I guess the moral of my post is to lighten up a little, don't carry your feelings on your sleeve, and try to be constructive with your post on this site and have some input that can help someone out. This site is not like a lot of the others it is a more serious site,if you want to go to a site that shoots a lot of bull crap go to www.Hotrodgossip.com they really let the crap fly all the time!! Re: Dyeing seatbelts???

Hey guys, I just read this thread for the first time as my friend may have to dye his dark blue belts, will that work as good as black? Hey Ron, I would think the last thing you would have to worry about in the patrol car would be cigarettes, I know you have had more than one Saturday night puke fest in the back seat at one time or another, eh? Thats what trustees are for right? I smoke like a chimmney but I refuse to smoke in my classic cars, seems kind of silly to me to spend have my life detailing the thing and then build a bonfire in it! I spend enough time out of the car getting fuel or standing next to it while getting a speeding ticket that it gives me plenty of time to smoke. The only smoke I want in my cars are from the rear tires, best air freshener in the world for a classic cruiser. Anyway, I can honestly say I did not have anything to do with the tension in this thread...darn, missed out on another one. Seems like lately it is either my fault or Marlins. But, nobody has managed to chase either of us away. Also, I learned something here, I never knew they were seat belts, I always thought they were SEX belts! Re: Dyeing seatbelts???

Well that didnít work for S..t!! I Cleaned the belts and masked of the chrome and the date tags and gave them a shot of dye from the Fizz can, turned out stiff like I was afraid of, and they donít pull through the buckles very well that way.

Anybody seen the Black Deluxe repo seat belts in person???? Not wanting to order a set if they look like all the OER crap they sell and claim is just like the real deal. NOT!!

I heard when they were first released they did not latch right, supposedly they are fixed now??, anyone know for sure if they are nice or not????

Thnx Bud.
