Seen here before, but since you asked...:3gears:
Bought from original owner Oct of '67. What we now call "Day 2" started immediately beginning with peeling off the SS stripes. I flogged the original 396 to death, Hurst, Hooker, Crower, 4:88s etc, etc, then an over the counter L88. Since 1977 a '69 L78 that I've gone through twice. Today it is unrestored with much original paint and 40K miles. MCACN Day 2 Display 2016 (Thanks Dan!!), MCACN MCR Cover Car Display 2017 (Thanks Arvid!!) and Day 2 Concours Gold. Bill W |

First car was not a GM car, but fun! 1970 Triumph Spitfire. 3rd car was a 69 Camaro X44 327 manual (was Orange) from Virginia :)
First pic was as bought, then I painted it an unknown red-ish color and added the RS option :) |

Here's me with my second Mopar, a Los Angeles built 70 440+6 4 speed Cuda in 1982. Im wearing my 1981 Street Machine Nationals T-shirt and the car has the 1980 Street Machine Nats license plate frame.
I still got that license plate frame...and none of that hair. |
Nothing exciting, but mine was a beige 1985 Olds Firenza sedan, in all its 85-horsepower overhead cam fury. First car also became my first wreck after hot dogging it on a gravel road, sliding off the edge of the road and parking it on its roof. No photos of the actual car seem to have survived.

Not my 1st car, but the 1st car I learned to drive in. A 1966 AMC Ambassador. My folks were willing to give it to me, but I wanted a 1969 Camaro. I eventually got the Garnet red/red 1969 Camaro by working at McDonalds etc. I think it cost me $1400. There's a guy close to me that has a red/red 1969 that I think is my 1st car. I told him to give me 1st crack at it if he sells it. The 1966 AMC Ambassador is really a pretty nice looking car. It had a 327CID engine and reminds me of a 1965 Chevelle. It would be cool to have today and would be a great LS swap car. Here's a pic off the web of what it looked like.

My 1st car I bought. June 1984 I bought this off my cousin who was the 2nd owner. It sat in the back of the dealership building that his family had. Paid $3500 for it with the paint job that is still on it today. Factory quad black 1974 E58 360-4bbl auto 3.55 with 34k miles on it. Hardly gets out anymore. Oldest boy wants to get it up and going so he can race PSMCDR with me.
