Big tease.

That's a lot of boat for a trailer. Do you need a permit to tow it due to the width? Thanks.

She's pretty heavy, but the trailer is purpose built for it and tows nicely. Six wheel EOH brakes etc. I wouldn't want to go any bigger, especially with my Expy, but it's good the way it is. No special permits. The beam is 9'8". I don't go too far with it on the trailer anyway.

That's cool set up. I did that with a bike I had for commuting a few years ago.

My 1995 6.5 Diesel K2500 'Burban. 4WD and 4.10 gears. 8600 GVW. Ordered it in March 1995 and bought it new in May 1995. Brought all the kids home from the hospital when they were born, took them all to college when they grew up. Towed a lot of Mopars, Chevies, and Pontiacs over the years. I replaced the original engine in 2017 with a brand new, upgraded, 6.5 diesel engine from the company that built them for the Humvee upfitting facility. It really hauls now. The upgraded engines have 18 to 1 compression instead of 23 to 1 and make up for it by using a higher boost level that puts out more power with less strain on the internals. They also have a completely redesigned block that has around 50 pounds of extra iron in it to make up for the faults of the original inferior GM castings.

I also had some humorous decals made up for the side since 6.5 technically is a "396"

That is a great Suburban and clearly a loved family member.

I'm not the one to tow with a SRW vehicle.

My current tow pigs(the Mack needs a little work):

2006 Ridgeline V6 Honda does fine for me, hauling my baby home from a 6 hour return trip back home.

I know it is not your heavy duty dully etc... but I have used it many times and does the trick for me.

No way I'd tow at(or several hundred pounds over) the towing capacity of a unibody car.

I'd put a 1,500-2,000 lb limit if I was forced to tow with a Ridgeline.

I had a 2013 F150 and my empty car hauler(2k-2.2k lbs) was no fun to tow. The towing capacity on that car was 11k +/- lbs.

The transmission(transaxle?) in the Honda must be suffering.
