I believe the Yenko Chevelle that Warren posted is VIN #356640, originally purchased from Marshall Chev in Reading, PA by F. Delewski of Summit Ave, Reading, PA on 5/2/1969. It was last titled in PA to a K. Shelton of Manheim, PA in the mid-late '70's, no DMV records since then.

Cool... so it’s a real Yenko COPO 427 Chevelle.

Agreed an no one that I have talked to who looked at that car at Carlise wrote the VIN down. Go figure.....

here is a restored one with black stripes but I don't know if it is the same car from the 1977 picture posted here

the one next to it with white stripes was a one owner car at the time and may still be

IIRC, the original owner car was Frank Radake of MO and was sold new from Francis Chev in Bridgeton, MO, and I thought the other red one in that pic was owned by Mike Guarise of WI and was sold new from White Allen Chev in Dayton, OH.

Did you ask Mark Kickel? If he was there he wrote it down, that I’ll guarantee.

Damn and I just saw him last weekend. You are right, he would have.

Very Cool, I actually grew up and lived in Manheim till the mid 90's. And still work there to this day. I pretty much know or knew of every Hot Rod & Muscle car in town still. And this Car dosent ring any bells ! there was a guy by the name of Kenny Shelton around town who was quite a bit older than me. Any idea on K.Shelton's street address ? Could possibly be a Mennonite/Farmer kid from outside town ? they always had Cool Muscle stuff stashed away. Hidden away until Fri/Sat nites

They sure are Bruce.....At first I thought they were my pictures.....I looked at all
my Pictures, then I remembered....you and I were both at SCR that year :)

Frank Radake’s 1969 Yenko Chevelle is the only known Yenko with dealer Installed A/C :)
