What a beautiful car and nice job on the details! Nice to see another Biscayne surface. I have to ask, why did they put a fake cowl tag on the car? Was it originally a small block/glide car?

"Saturday, Saturday.......in lane 1 is the show quality '66 427 of Don Breen running B/S"
Remember......that IS why these cars were built way back then. Could also have dropped down to C/S with a little extra weight. Wow, that car is nice, gotta be the nicest example out there. Very nice job on the build. Any race history known??? |

Are you the owner? ( thought maybe since you wrote it all in caps) Can you tell me if the window sticker and engine block are both original to the car? 2H doesn't appear to have been used on the fullsize cars, at least in 66. There is a documented 66 Biscayne 2dr L72 with original dealer invoice that shows heater delete and that code was not on the tag. Makes sense since it was all bolt on items. |

The tag doesn't look fake. Just looks cleaned up or it could even be a replacement tag.
