Mike you really are on the hunt!!

I am in contact with this El Camino owner and have shared back and forth to try to find his original engine.

Did you see the Daytona yellow 396/375 l78 on the Lansing mi craigslist. It has white bench seat but it's a manual trans. Claims interior and sheet metal are original? Have you spoke with the owner yet. Looks to have been restored so who knows if they changed the color of the interior.
