Re: 2015 MCACN Hemi Cuda and Challenger converts
Would have loved to have seen the book with all the stories on the various E body vert Hemis that were at the show.
Are any of them true survivor cars? Seems like many of them have had interesting pasts and have been restored back to original. Dave |

Charley, What ever happened to the Butterscotch 71 hemi ragtop that was in Canada. Owned by the famous snowmobile racer back in the 1980's. Did he decline the invite?

Steve,
I was the one who gave your phone number & information to the Brother's Collection so they could get in touch with you about the photos & broadcast sheet. They were very appreciative you were willing to part with them & in a later conversation with Kevin Suydam, he agreed they belonged with it. (He also said he wished he had known about them when he owned it.) Chris https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3-img_7261.jpg |
Re: 2015 MCACN Hemi Cuda and Challenger converts
Hi Chris,
It never occurred to me back when Kevin owned it, to get it to him. It was just one of many restoration albums I have from prior cars. I figured I was the offical archivist of my old cars. I have had the yellow car's restoration album containing all the "before" photos and the "in process" photos since I did the car back in 1986. Looks like the work held up nicely in 29 years. I also had fogotten I had that extra broadcast sheet since the car had so many of them. I found it recently while cleaning out an old desk in my son's room. Hey, if the Brother's Collection don't want them maybe Kevin does. |

The last Hemi-Challenger rag built sits here in Toronto....it's a friend. Hemi orange 4-speed. Needs a full resto. Tried to buy it 378 times....he won't sell. </div></div> Can you share any more info on the car? Just curious as someone from the Toronto area, I do remember seeing the Orange 71 Hemi Cuda vert at a local indoor show back in the day. Has it always been a Canadian car? Does the owner plan on ever restoring the car? Dave |

Interesting to hear about another 1971 Cuda Hemi vert in Canada. Where abouts in Canada was it? Never seen or heard of it any any magazines, so must be a low profile car? Butterscotch, did it look better than it sounds? Dave |

Thanks Tracker1!
Probably not my first choice for colour but not as bad as I thought. Where was pic taken? Is the black line that goes from one end to the other factory? Is it a body side moulding to prevent door dings? Dave |
