Re: National Trails Racing!
Joe it is always good to have you here for Trails weekend. If we can get your Mayor then maybe I can persuade the Mayor of Fishkill to join us ....call it Axles and Agendas. And Tom can show us what a Deuce can do

"Axles and Agendas"
good one! |
Re: National Trails Racing!
Would be cool to throw a few of our younger (JR.) racers into the mix as well, such as our two, Marlin's two, etc.

Re: National Trails Racing!
Tom we have plenty of room for the Jr dragsters. Marlin as well. They generally have racing Friday Saturday and Sunday. Make it a racing weekend. Our session is private to our group. Then it is open racing for the rest of the weekend...they charge 15 dollars to race or watch ...there are plenty of other Jr dragsters

Re: National Trails Racing!
I like it, count me in next time. I look forward to taking some laps myself. If I can only get my painter to finish my Nova.

Re: National Trails Racing!
Come on Sam! Look at the slips, my second run looked as if it was gonna be better than the first. Doug had a pass earlier that he missed 3rd and his buddy Ed missed 3rd on the final pass. Damn 4spds! Give me a powerglide with a transbrake. I do have to admit, even though it was only 13.19 it is the fastest I have been in over 12 years on the track.

A good run for Joe and that COPO car!

Re: National Trails Racing!
I am guessing Joe had the emergency brake on and his thong was riding up ...on him. Lol He also didn't have a beer cup holder by the column. Small things mean alot to the Iowa bunch

Re: National Trails Racing!
Doug, maybe this could turn out to be a SYC event. Twice a year.. Once in the spring and again in the fall!! If you do it this fall I will DEFINITELY be there come "hell or high water"..
