Re: 1970 Canadian L78 Nova..
Thanks Sam...I'm just going to keep working on the little details as I go along. Should have the seats back this week...then I can finish the interior detailing. Plan to spend some more time on the undercarriage, refinishing exhaust hardware, a little more cleaning and touch up...should be ready for spring and a new owner. It's starting to shape up real nice.
wilma Engine bay is just about on the money..we installed some new battery cables and did some other little stuff...need to get a tune-up sticker. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_3333.jpg Nova M20 with tag and TCS connection.. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_3326.jpg 12 bolt housing has held up real well over the years.. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_3310.jpg |

Don't clean it up to much Tom,it looks good from here. Besides, the new owner better be driving it and not using it as a lawn ornament!

Re: 1970 Canadian L78 Nova..
Update on the red Candadian car...picked up the seats this week form the upholstery shop...they really came out nice We cleaned all the frames, rebuilt springs and supports in the front seat, and then painted all the metal. We added a new foam insert to the front seat, but retained the factory burlap and stuffing for an original look on all the pieces. I detailed the seat belts and will install some new chrome end caps to finish off the front seat. Seats should go back in tomorrow..more pics then.

Re: 1970 Canadian L78 Nova..
Tom,
I see you rear shocks are not the originals.....check your front shocks....as I have seen "Canada" stamped on them if they are indeed original. Looking Great! Dan |

Since this car is driven...we went with something a little better than the factory style. But, the new owner can certainly upgrade to spirals if they like |
