Re: 1968 Z28 COWL COLOR
My 69 NOR Z has white overspray on the cowl. Not as much as Mike's pics above, but one side it full white, the other is lighter overspray.

http://www.racehome.com/images/camar...3B-Z11COWL.jpg [/ QUOTE ] So from our collective eyes and brains...have we established that the image above shows the paint format has only been found on NOR cars so far? And the larger full-cowl paint format has been found on NOR and LOS cars? Thanks, Tony Huntimer Camaro Performers Magazine |

correct " And the larger full-cowl paint format has been found on NOR and LOS cars? I would restate that to say: And the larger full-cowl paint format has been found on all LOS and some NOR cars. |
Re: 1968 Z28 COWL COLOR
And also that many LOS cars had the area partly masked off and painted as I have stated mine and many others are.

The earlier Zs did not have it done in this style. The Norwood cars generally had the masked off style like you see in that '69 pacecar example and the LOS cars typically had the style which can be seen in Jerry's book. -Jon |

Re: 1968 Z28 COWL COLOR
The Early 10D 69 Z I am doing had a white cowl top with pretty heavy white overspray misted down the face of the firewall...
