1983? I have two 83 models. They weren't making any muscle cars in 83, but the 84 Corvette was a step in the right direction. Still a few years away from the GNX.
Here is my 83 745i. I have over 320,000 miles on it. That interior is water buffalo hide, 38 years old this August, and not one crack. I converted it from an auto to a five speed and made it appear pretty much factory. This was the second fastest sedan in the world in 1983.

----I sold Dave Glass his 1st Corvette. Nice 67 427/435 coupe which he and his main employee and friend, Cary then did a very nice body off to. Took a 1970 Z28 shadow gray auto in trade. Found out later it was originally yellow. The gray was way cooler than yellow so that long ago I didn't much care......Bill S

I notice on Mopars with the optional Road Wheels like this one - most have the shiny chrome trim rings instead of the "brushed" that both Mopar and AMC used. Are they not available anymore?
