Awesome work Sam. Very inspiring. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Excellent work.

This is the stuff I dig the most! It's all this little detail stuff that about 95% of the people that see the car will not know what they are looking at. Yet, in the end with the whole package on display, they are mesmerized and the reason why is all the little details like that came together to make that package!!:biggthumpup::worship:

Nice job, Samitron!!:biggthumpup::biggthumpup:

Cheers
Dave

PS: that reminds me.... leaky faucet I gotsta fix!

Small progress, little details, big impact (IMO). After much needed assistance from Rick Nelson, I disassembled my wiper motor/washer pump. Next I degreased (1st photo) and prepped with muratic acid (2nd photo) all pieces to be plated and sent everything out for cadmium plating. I got my pieces back today (3rd photo) and it’s time for reassembly! (Extra plated pieces are for my vintage aluminum water pump).

Looks like fine jewelry Sam. That will be some nice bling on the firewall.
