It isn't Edelbrock that's closing. The OPPORTUNITY PARTNERS investment firm may be pulling out of CA. Can't blame them, but nearly all the independent manufacturers have been bought out by investment groups over the past 10-12 years, just like Auto Forums has bought up thousands of on-line community forums. Only 2 reasons for all this consolidation under just a few umbrella's... control and profit.
