For edumaction purposes: How does one tell it's a '59, as opposed to a '60? (obviously a '58 would have the trim on the decklid).

I believe one way to tell is the seat seams on a 1959 are arranged side to side, whereas a 1960 seat seam is arranged up and down.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on this.:grin:

60 has a rear sway bar, 59 not. I think 60 has concave lenses on the dash where 59 has flat glass. I see someone mentioned the seats, I don't recall that but will check. Also the pass side package tray with the grab bar, 59 just says Corvette, 60 says Corvette but has a red and blue rectangular logo above and below the word.

There are a number of other things like hinges, sway bar and radius rod diameters, but the above items are the first look identifiers when you see one.

Wrong tires. Should just say "Polyglas" without the size as it's a 1968. First car to have them: 1968 428 Cobra Jet Mustang GT.
