Looks like original paint. White comfort weave interior with console and go pack dash. Functional hood and air cleaner. T10 with Hurst shifter. Missing motor. I plan to use some parts on my 74. Then sell the rest. Earl |

This car as you can see sits outside all the time and does have license on it and some of you may have seen the car at Carlisle in the past.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
As much as I hate to see it out in the weather, there's just something cool about using your valuable muscle car as a daily driver all these years later.
There's a guy here who drives a Hemi Charger very frequently to his repair shop up the road; I've been trying to get a pic but when I see it, I'm usually not able to get a pic. |

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
While strolling around Whistler on the Weekend I spotted this 66 or 67 Comet Convert under a tarp. A very unlikely place for an old Muscle car. Its a resort community and has strict bylaws on where cars and RV's can be stored.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
I think Ive talked to the guy with the Charger at a show, original owner 4 speed Hemi. He used to manage a tire store at Daniels and Fiddlestcks in Ft. Myers. Ron....

Ron, Was that a burnt orange color?

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
WOW! All I can say is how much appreciation I have for the NICE cars that are left! Back when these cars were basically "used cars" not many people cared enough to pamper or protect them---hence the prices some of the REAL GOOD ONES command today. Even though I try to collect un-retored originals (have been WAY before the current craze), I will undertake a full-blown restoration if I absolutely love the car. I'm kinda to the point where my body says "BUY 'EM DONE"---my back just can't take much more.
Thanks to all for posting the pics and keep 'em comin'!!!!!!!! |

Rare SC/Hornet. I hope someone does something with it.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Yesterday, I saw a '66 427 'Vette roadster that had "hibernating" for about 25 years. The car needs EVERYTHING, but it is all there with original K-66, Holley intake, headlights, etc. I would say it was a "sleeping" car instead of "rotting" and WILL be restored.....someday. A one-owner, 54k miles, no-hit, car.

He wants to see something done with it but his son has "first dibs". He said he will let me know. -Matt |
