I totally missed his signing on here, even looked at the Orange car in the profile, he did tell me later he was on board.

Yeah Aaron, Dave cracks me up too! We really need to encourage him to come out of his shell more. i can only imagine the cracks he makes from the cockpit to his passengers - must be a hoot!! ;>)

So, my plan with D-2ing my Chevelle was that all speed parts would easily attach or at worst bolt on without modding the structure of the car. To that end, I wanted to provide a stable attachment for the Hurst Super Boot/Competition Plus combo (for spirited shifting) without drilling holes in the trans hump due to the larger footprint of the boot base plate....

That's sweet, nice fab work

That's very neat looking. Nice job.

Right On !! Speed parts rarely just drop right in, so that is a nice touch to get it to fit.
nice work!

Looks great Sam.

How much time have you spent in the car with the garage lights off just staring at the gauges? Nice fabrication work on with the shifter boot bezel adapter.

Great day-two change over!

Excellent question Phil. The only thing I will say is, the gauge lights are very mesmerizing! And, even though you haven’t asked, so far I am not making motor noises with my mouth. thanks‼️
