Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
1972(?) Heavy Chevy that's local; car sits high because the engine has been removed. I have no idea whether or not one goes with the car or not. I peeked inside and there is a Hurst stick poking through the floor and a tachometer fastened to the steering column. Car has finned drum brakes all the way around (did Heavy Chevy's come that way?)

That Heavy Chevy is also on Craigslist. He reposts it daily.

This was sitting in my yard for the last seven years until I decided to sell it. I owned it for 25 years and the last 10 years or so it was sort of in an auto caccoon sinking into the earth. 1970 Swinger 340, 4 speed, all matching numbers.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Cool car. What did you end up getting out of it?
|
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
As it sat, and I also gave him a set of rechromed bumpers, I got $6,500.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS

I had the remains of the broadcast sheet. I owned the car since 1986 and was friends with the previous owner. |

Having worked at Hardin Olds, Honda and DeLorean...I got to see how poorly they were out together...they were worse than the 80's Olds as far as build quality....if you can believe it.Also it took forever to get parts! |
