Re: Old Street Scenes
Wow, Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster, PA. Long gone. I think the building has been converted into apartments and condos. Hamilton trained and employed MANY skilled watchmakers over the years. Great American know-how gone forever. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Wow I know this one!.. I used to drive by here twice a day. Of course it was never this nice.. Was real run down and being used as a residence with junk sitting all over the place. I heard it burnt down a couple years ago.. nothing there now but the wall. This spot is on RT 30 (Lincoln Hwy) about 7 miles west of Schellsburg, PA. called Grandview Point. If you look it up on Google Earth there is a photo of it the way I remember seeing it every day. Pretty cool to see what it looked like back in the day. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Some old pics, out of the late 40's, of Mckenzie chevy. The building is still there (last pic). I wish I knew where all those signs went.

Heres a pic from back in the late 60's of my uncles 1965 red on red 4spd L78 Impala. My dad said they used to pound the hell out of that thing. They used to race at Keystone raceway in New Alexendra, Pa and Peterson Memorial dragway in Tipton, Pa.
