Someone really screwed up this car. It's claimed as a survivor. But it's been monkey'd with: F & R spoilers were not an option on the 1969 Mach 1 (F was standard on Boss Mustangs while R was an option.) Rear Window Slats were not an option either - only for the Boss Mustangs And the biggest mistake: making an ultra rare car into a mundane one: https://i.postimg.cc/mgDRg6ML/1969-f...ang-mach-1.jpg This Mach 1 is one of only a handful made with the standard hood pins deleted. Someone added them. Grrrrrr. |

https://i.postimg.cc/m2T9wqtN/603021.jpg The Rebel Machine is the only car ever designed and intended as a spoof against the entire domestic automotive industry. That spoof is what prompted the cartoon of BC on a gear doing a burnout - raw power from practically nothing which was where AMC was financially as the only major independent car company left in the western hemisphere. https://i.postimg.cc/kXwbhcSr/Up-wit...hine-600px.png https://i.postimg.cc/7Z62v215/Rebel-1.jpg The cartoon was stuck on the car for the product launch but was not on showroom models. If you wanted one it you had to mail AMC 25 cents to get it. https://i.postimg.cc/wjGs9jF0/rebel-...-prototype.jpg |

Believe it or not, it's Forest Green. The color looks off due to being shot under "Cool White" fluorescent lights. Also the White Balance on the digital camera may not be set correctly. |

Good gawd, there must have been a number of deep pockets and huge egos for the prices on some of those cars. |
