The Fina-Sport was an American automobile manufactured from 1953 until 1954. The brainchild of Perry Fina, it used a 210 hp (160 kW) Cadillac V-8 engine and Hydramatic transmission mounted on a Ford chassis. Styling of both convertibles and hardtops was by Vignale.

The pic of the 789 Corvette was taken at Car Craft in St Paul a number of years ago. Belonged to Bob Marvin's collection. Don't know if he still has it, I don't believe so. It was, actually, pretty cool to see in person.

Here's some info, for those who have never seen, or heard, of it.

Those were cool cars, I still remember one in the neighborhood and how I loved it.

A chameleon species not seen in a over a century was spotted by researchers in Madagascar.

A group of scientists from the Bavarian Natural History Collections (ZSM) in Germany tracked down the rare Voeltzkow chameleon species after the “short-lived and very colorful” reptile was thought to be lost for over 100 years.

Speaking of Air Shows . . . one of the things I miss from Ft. Lauderdale was their annual Air Show - supposedly the largest outdoor spectator event.

BTW Bill, that orange 1969 Camaro SS you liked was also an L89. That year MCACN did an L89 highlight. That's why your old El Camino was there.
