I'll try to look closer. I guess I never post pics of the 32 so I will post some in a different thread.

Charley
Phil "Woj" has a sweet 69 Camaro survior, this summer he showed Grady an Me the same little paper gizmo. It was also on the intake manifold. It was pushed down on one of the bolts I think https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif. We could only guess what they might be.
If phil does not chime in here, I will make sure he see's your photo's.
I love the pictures https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif kind of like opening a time capsule.

Norman said the car never had the center rear view mirror but the post is there. Is that the correct post ? https://www.yenko.net/attachments/385206-tn_005.JPG

Great car for historical purposes! My L78 is an 01C car and has that same early rear view mirror mount. It sucks for trying to hold the mirror in place, but that looks correct. I ended up mounting a 69 style mirror from the ceiling for safety reasons and it didn't hurt the headliner at all so I'm happy for now. The stock 2 piece mount will start to banana over time and won't hold in place. The early 70 cars had that mount before they changed to the later style that lasted through most of the 2nd gens. I would leave that mount alone for now.

I've seen these too. Just can't remember where. Maybe as a protective cap on something like a carb stud? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

isn't that the plug that I've seen on old NOS motors or intakes that goes in the oil fill hole? or dist. hole?

That is the correct '70 only mount. Do you have the mirror and adjuster bracket for it? Once in a while they pop up on Pee bay. Keep looking and you will come across one

I would rather not replace the mirror since it was missing when sold new. Just kinda cool history.

Popping the Mirror on may have been part of the Dealer prep?
