1950. That's Sear's Corporate Airplane. Photo taken in Indiana.

I don't know what year it is, but based on the suits, I would bet pre 1952. By then, the lapels got skinny again, and stayed that way until the 70's.

About 280,000 Harbor Breeze Kingsbury ceiling fans that were sold at Lowe’s have been recalled over reports that the glass globe can fall off.

The ceiling fans were manufactured before December 2018. They have a bronze finish and five reversible blades that have a 70-inch span. There is also a frosted glass light and remote control.

The company, HKC-US, has received 76 reports of the light globe falling, four of which involved someone being cut by glass.

Corvette Production Will Pause Due to COVID Impacts

Quote:

The Chevrolet Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky will shut down for one week starting on October 12 due to supply chain disruptions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, a General Motors spokesperson confirmed to Corvette Blogger today.

In a statement, GM says its supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering teams are working with the automaker's suppliers to ensure no further impact on production will occur. The plant is scheduled to resume normal operations on Monday, October 19, should everything go smoothly.

Strange "hood scoop" on that red TA above; doesn't look like a shaker, and that black/white stripes Z looks PERFECT, WOW.

It's either aftermarket or home made. It caught my eye being so different from a factory scoop. LOL - still won't work. Too far from the windshield.

That was a common aftermarket, hood mounted, shaker from back in the late 70's early 1980's.
