What an amazing build to follow. I had the benefit of viewing the car in Carlisle and I am impressed, but I think I'll be more impressed to see the finished product!

Keep up the great work guys!

LVCamaro.......

Trying to read all of this but,

is there any story as to how it made it to Hawaii in the first place???

Im not quite clear as to the timeline after the Dana conversion was done and it ending up in Hawaii.

How did the last owner aquire it?

Thanx!

2nd owner Bert had been looking for a Motion Camaro similar to one a friend had back in Hawaii and found the DANA for sale before he returned back to Hawaii from Calif. He bought it and shipped it the next day so it would be here when he returned. It was to be raced and after a few trips down the track after its arrival to Hawaii was parked and didnt move again until Brian Henderson and I went and towed it to my place. It was then shipped to Steve in Vegas.

DANA conversion was completed in early 69 by the orginal owner. Neat things about the car were the DANA invoice sheets that showed charges for what seems to be every nut/bolt, hood/tranny/engine assembly/scatter shielf/headers/gauges/shocks along with that the A/C parts that were to be removed be returned to the owner.

very neat car and I am glad to be able to see it when it was first uncovered. Cant wait to see it whens its completed by the SCW folks

What an awesome score! My favourite stories have always been about old cars being uncovered after years of hiding and/or neglect and thus being put back into our hobby and the public eye where it can be truly appreciated!

Again, incredible find! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Absolutely amazing. It's great to see one that was at least somewhat protected all these years. I remember driving by a 69 Pacecar for many years that sat uncovered here in NH and stopping from time to time to ask the old woman who lived there if she would sell it. The story was always the same that it belonged to her son who had moved to CA and he was coming back to get it one day. I watched it slowly decompose until it finally got so rotted it nearly broke in half. One day I heard that it was bought by a local Camaro used parts dealer and parted out because it was too far gone to save it.
