Hop on YouTube and search Apache Powerboats. You will be entertained for hours on how these boats eat up waves.

I'm well aware of Apache's colorful history :eek2:, I've been involved in offshore racing for 30yrs. The owner of Kemosabe also owned 2 other 47 Apaches, Medicine Man and Broken Arrow.
He also bought a 46' Skater last year with 1550's, and it is a beast but I still prefer Kemosabe.

Kemosabe has 6 fuel tanks, runs 91 in the 4 rear tanks and keeps 110 in the front tanks, and switches to the front tanks when running hard.

I'm not at all board, I'm amazed. I don't think I could afford one weekend of fun in one of these boats.....truly amazing machines.

The name Coca-Cola derives from the soda's two original ingredients—the kola nut and, you guessed it, cocaine. Well before cocaine was illegalized by the U.S. government in 1914, the drug played an integral role in flavoring your average glass of Coke. The official recipe changed in 1903, using "spent" coca leaves that had a bare amount of active substance left in them. Today, the flavor of the soda partially comes from cocaine-free coca leaf extract prepared at a factory in Mayfield, New Jersey, the only factory legally able to process the drug in the United States.

The last gasp for the Ford 427: 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E. Due to stricter emissions Ford had to go with a hydraulic cam which reduced the horsepower from 410 to 390. The 427 GT-E was only available with a C6 automatic.
