In looking back, one of the items standard on the Z16 were the Impala's big brake drums. If you're going to make a muscle car go fast, you also need to make it stop quickly too. Unfortunately I believe the bean counters saw a way to save money and all newer mid-sized GM muscle cars would get smaller 9.5" drum brakes. |

If you see Dragonflies on your property, don't chase them away. First, they can't hurt you and second, they love to eat mosquitoes. |

Unknown if it's a real Special Paint 1969 Mach 1. Silver was not an RPO color in 1969. |

The only item on that list that didn't make it into production were the power windows |

I read somewhere by one of the Z-16 authority's,that although similar, the Z-16 did NOT use the 1965 Chevelle Convertibles' exact boxed frame. It did resemble it though. Also the Brakes were NOT Impala 11" brakes, but similar as well.
Both were unique to the Z-16 Chevelle. |

Why would Chevrolet use one-off items like a frame and brakes as opposed to using existing items like the Chevelle convertible boxed frame and the Impala 11" brakes? Production was always going to be 200 cars. Have you ever noticed that Dolly Parton always wears long sleeves. There's a reason . . . they cover her tattoos. |

This is going to be a bad one. 20 foot Storm Surge expected. That will send water 30 miles inland. If you live in it's path, please evacuate. |

194 year old retailer Lord & Taylor has closed all it's stores and gone out of business |
Went to Walmart this afternoon to pick up some prescriptions. So there is this very old lady at the counter with her back turned to me. But I can see her mask is a lot lower than it should be. I turned to my son and bet him her mask didn't cover her nose. He laughed and agreed with me. The old lady finally finishes, turns around and low and behold, it's below her nose. But . . . I can see why. She had the biggest and longest nose I have ever seen on a woman - hands down. If she covered her nose, her mouth would be exposed. The two of us are just staring at her - couldn't help it. Thank God we were both wearing masks because if not she would have seen our mouths gaping wide open in astonishment!
This mask thing ain't that bad after all. |
