Re: Day 2 parts discussion
The different designs of the Hurst line locks are confusing. Here is a pic I swiped off the internet (possibly this site) some time ago of the style I thought would be correct for Day 2ing my 1970 Nova:
http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...rstLineLoc.jpg I bought one that was supposed to be a Hurst and looks similar, but isn't quite the same, and it doesn't say Hurst on it. It looks like the one on the right in Hemicolt's pic, so maybe it really is a Hurst? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...e=IMG_0828.JPG Hemicolt, does yours say "MASTER CYL." on one end and "12 VOLT D.C." and "WHEEL CYL." on the other end? That's what mine says. Biondo's current offering is probably similar enough to fool 99+% of the general public: http://www.biondoracing.com/images/shopping/LL.jpg http://www.biondoracing.com/RacerEssentials.shtml#LL |

The pic you posted is one I originally took shooting various parts of Ken Barnhart's ZL1. it is 100% correct for anything post 1969.
There is a guy who is making a reproduction sticker for earlier style I'll call it the 1967 style. If I had one, I would want it to say Hurst. Heck you could probably put the repro sticker (it is on ebay occasionally) on the one you have. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HURST-LINE-L...ies&vxp=mtr |

Re: Day 2 parts discussion
I think those NOS Keystones are bitchin'! They may be a GM bolt pattern but I've always associated Keystones with being at home on Chrysler products for some reason. In fact, I can remember being at the Street Machine Nationals back in the '80's (the CC Nats!) and a friend and I made a point to count how many Mopars we could find with Keystones and the number was astounding!

Sox and Martin put them on the Pro Stock cars they were building and selling in the early 70's. Didn't see many chevies running those back then. Bobby Warren ran them on his Super Stock and Stock Chevies but that is all I can remember. Maybe Pontiacs but Chevies??? Mark is right again!
