In '98 I was at a Goodguys event in Ohio and Linda came by in a golf cart. I stopped her and asked for a photo op with my car. When she handed it back to me, I said you can keep it. Two years (at least) later I was at the York Reunion walking the aisles where Linda was sitting signing autographs with a line of at least 30 people waiting. As I walked by she yelled out my name, got up, came around the line and gave me a big hug! I was floored. I know Nikki. Found her by fluke on FB and send her photos of herself from various sources she has never seen from time to time.
I told her she should come out to major car shows and reunions but she does not want to be in the spotlight. Apparently Linda is in the hospital and it sounds like surgery is about to occur this week or next. Let's all wish for a speedy recovery for Linda.
