Benny I did not know you ended up with Jims car? I heard he sold it. When this car pulled into my driveway about 10 years ago I was just simply amazed. At that time I think the car only had 21,000 miles on it. He had just got it running and on the road after sitting in the garage for many years. Its a special car for sure. This was a NY car to boot. They never survived like this....

Benny has been patiently waiting for me to organize and post a few photos of his original 1969 Camaro SS L78 from MCACN Vintage Certification. Benny was a real pleasure to work with and his car is a terrific subject. The following photos document many of the details and original elements of the car that were considered during certification judging. Enjoy.

Mallard 04-03-2020 03:28 PM

Quite obvious the original owner didn't initially plan to keep the car to drive it 50 years later....no power steering!

L-78 Camaro

The owner had to bye a car with a auto trans in it. So his wife could drive it. He told me that story himselve. Get this he had three children. all now in their 40s. They never where allowed to drive the ever. He got the fold down rear seat, so he could tell friends. There was No room in the back seat, when the seat was down! BBBenny
