For SCR22, the racing portion on Friday will be a little different then in the past, hopefully making things run a little smoother.

All supercars, musclecars and era racecars are welcome (and encouraged) to attend, and of course race.

Besides the two brackets listed below, there will be some high flying exhibition racing by purpose built racecars, and as always, some spirited grudge racing.

Two brackets
1. Supercars
2. Musclecars

Each round racers will draw for opponent
Racers eliminated with second loss
Winner of each bracket will race 2 out of 3 for overall champion

Be sure and turn in time slip (all day, not just bracket race) with best:
Elapsed Time
Reaction Time
60’ time
Top speed

Awards Friday at the track:
Racer's Pick
Sponsor Pick
Fastest Stock Car
Fastest Modified Car
Quickest E.T.
Best R.T. (Reaction Time)
Quickest 60 Foot Time
Top Speed
Best Burnout
Heads-Up Champion

I know there is a fuel tank (pump) at the BB track. I was there a couple of weeks ago and saw the pump ( leaded 101). My question: Will we be able to purchase fuel at the track?

I just wanted to make a quick clarification on what was posted about the racing on Friday.
Any of the cars in attendance will be welcome to compete in the competition at the end of the day. The Supercar side of the bracket will be limited to Supercars only.
The Musclecar side will include any others that want to compete. However the competition will be foot brake only for the race cars to give everyone a fair chance.
We want this day to be fun and inviting for everyone to participate from the novice to the experts.
Thanks, Jamie

cook_dw 07-06-2019 07:13 PM

Sounds like this will be a great and fun filled weekend for anyone and everyone.
