3956618 cast 02-03-69 stamped V02O7DZ 19L554152 EDIT: So Warren just informed me that Van Nuys VINs did not go anywhere near this high... So, what does everyone think? This a fugazi stamping or an error - I gotta admit, if spurious, it fooled me! Thoughts?! And THANKS... |
Looking for the current owner of the 1969 Z28 with the following VIN #:
19N555159 If you own this car or know who does, please contact me. Eric |

1972 Chevelle M-22. Vin #121554901. Oshwa, Canada.
Case is in excellent undamaged condition. It was wire wheeled clean and is unpainted. Nothing broken or repaired. This would be so cool to find the car, if it still exists. |

UPDATE
This car has been found. Working on uniting engine. I sold many engines to JB engine service. The two are in contact. Car is Aztec Bronze 28k original miles. Original owner raced car sold body without drivetrain many years ago. 118376N154808 327 engine Christian Chevrolet Corporation Rushville Indiana dealer code 55 zone 25. Gentleman called looking for parts. Told me the VIN. Couldn't believe it. The car is in Virginia. That is where I traced it with national search. I had engine over twenty years. |
Wow!!:headbang:
|
On a related note, was able to help "Phase 3" get the original invoice to his 68 Camaro from Queen City. He was excited that it showed it was an original SS 396 350! Hope to make more matches in the future.

1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 block.
I have a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 HP with 4 speed bare block and thought it would be good to post the data here in case the car still exists. Feel free to share this information anywhere that may be helpful to others. It's a Fremont built car that is stamped 119z348164 and T0418JA. Casting 3955272 with date code C 27 9 for reference. I believe this would be 136379Z348164 for a coupe and 136679Z348164 for a convertible? Being a local (to me) built car, it may still be around here... The block is clean and mag'd good and is only .030 over bore (with some wear), so I'm not sure why it didn't stay with the car? |

If Original Stampings, it’s from a ‘69 Copo 9561 L72 Stick. Car may exist whether known or unknown, best Google whole VIN w/ last 6 added to 124379N before sharing #’s. If unknown, you need to find it and NCRS Delivering Dealer Service a good start… https://www.chevymuscledocs.com/ If car known and Engine you have its Genuine Original, they belong together if a fair value can be agreed upon without hostage $ added as this recent two part thread… https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=172659 https://yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=172737 Hope it’s a Genuine Original, best of luck to all! :beers: ~ Pete . |

Kansas 1969 ss396/375 4 speed short block
5 Attachment(s)
I just bought a 69 ss396/375 horse 4 speed short block(JD code) that has a Kansas vin number on it.
Its .030 but cylinder walls look awesome. 4 bolt steel crank. I did buy it for my kansas built 69 but if the car it belongs to is still out there I would be willing to work with the owner to get it back to its original car. It is not for sale even to the original owner but will trade it for a big block for my car. The vin number is 19k402019 |
Heres better pictures. The cast date is I-17-68
