Won't really do much with this car it's just a clean original car. I just thought it would be cool to throw the big n little Cragars on it for a day or 2.

I was looking at pics on the other thread.....looks real good Mike. I'm not familiar with those drag radials, but a nice pair of L60s or M&amp;H cheaters would work well!

I was thinking maybe a J 60 Dave.. think they will work? I think my 48 year old rear springs may have lost some arch over the years.. LOL.

Vintage air shocks do the trick Mike. L or H 60's-70's are what I would run.

Thanks for your input Sam I think I'm gonna try the J60 Goodyears I don't really want to change this car very much although I Love the Day 2 look. Especially after seeing all the great Day 2 cars this weekend at Mcacn.

Good point Steve. I don't think Mike has any plans to touch that car other than seeing what it looked like with a different pair of socks and shoes. He and I chat fairly often, and while I'm not speaking for him, I do know that he realizes and appreciates just how special that car really is.

This car will definitely stay original guys ,although I'm a sucker for a Day 2 machine I still have a passion for originality and preservation. I feel like I learn something new about these cars everyday,which is my goal. Thanks to everyone who has helped answer questions and I'm sure I will have plenty more to come.LOL I have a few more pics I will post soon. Are you going to add smog back onto it Mike. I have a Dec 17th pump if you're going that route.

Does anyone know what the stamping 51 means in the rear quarter? The other stamp is the one on the drivers side corner of the hood.Any ideas?

Mike, the numbers punched/stamped into the sheet metal correlate to the week those pieces were stamped. (Sorry if this explanation is repititious).
