Safety wire now that is something you dont see everyday.. Engine looks very clean; must not have very many miles on it. Smart move on the 1 piece gasket. I dont use anything but.. What did you use for paint?

Thanks Mark.....leaving the water pump unpainted, it will have a nice contrast with the aluminum heads Plus the M/T Super Scavenger Headers will also be in there original orange color. Dan |

What do the ladder bars connect to up front?
Ryan |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Not the best pictures but they bolt to the a bracket that is bolted to the frame.

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Today's results......the highlight of this 1969 SS396 Chevelle is that it retains the original "Born With" drivetrain.
The original engine and transmission will remain on this display stand next to the Chevelle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psuxbeya3q.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pspxpkljf3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps2ea3at5e.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pswrpud3em.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psyqpzbjys.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psprpl9yn1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pstxa706tj.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psngkcqsyd.jpg Dan |
