I just got off the phone with jim deakins the second owner he has a box full of pics and maybe a movie of it racing. Jim is one who sent me that pic of it black he was driving it. I have some pics of it new [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img] orange with dynamotion gold leaf on the side of it very very cool looking .Caint get the pics size right to post it

Pics are small you can tell its a copo look at the botttom pic xt rims and firestone tires and dual exhaust no ant either this was when the car was new they used shoe polish on the DYAMOTION lettering then they had it painted on gold leaf you can see the cowl hood to its cool to me iam getting better pics of it http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/p...0/69camaro.jpg

The pics and the paint scheme are outstanding! Do you know if the car was delivered with the rear tail panel painted the dark color (black)? Or was that done afterwards?

Brent.....that car looks the best in those pictures. Great paint scheme, Cragars, tires, traction bars, blacked out tail panel. IMO

If you have any way of restoring it back to that era.....DO IT!!!!

If I didn't know any better, this is another car with 15X6 wheels and slicks in the rear. Look at those baby's bulge out the side......PERFECT!!!!!

Man, this car needs to look just like this picture. This car spent almost zero time as showroom delivered. It's existence has been a race car. It's provenence is both COPO,. and race. It's like the Vitar COPO. A piece of GM, and racing history.

When i talked to Jim deakins he said he remember Tracy order the car it took for ever to get the car. He thinks around 12 weeks to get it.
