Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals/ Camaro Nationals
Starving myself for cheesesteaks! If anyone sees me (Friday) who I have yet to meet, god knows my mug has been all over here. Please stop me and say hi. I'll be with BBBenny and Sammy.

Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals/ Camaro Nationals
I've only gone to a few of the GM nationals, the abundance of Camaros is the only salvation for the event. Corvette weekend in August has always been great (if you can handle the heat) and I have not missed one in years. My friend said this years Ford event was a big flop with a lite attendance, cars were mostly all newer generation Mustangs. I think gas $$$ will keep some attendance down this year.

He is afraid of the heat and sun and thinks that somebody may steal his car! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif |
Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals/ Camaro Nationals
I'll be in the L row with my dad and brother trying to sell a bunch of useless junk for way more than it's worth... any sYc members are invited to stop by and have a cold one with us. As with anything, the show is what you make of it... I hope to have a relaxing weekend of doing nothing and shooting the breeze with other car guys.

Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals/ Camaro Nationals
I took my L78 Camaro SS convertible to the first GM nationals show. I had purchased the car from Charlie and sent it to Bob Harris to re-restore. It was a great event, lots of vendors, lots of different makes, a wonderful show. That's where I met Brian Henderson, I had a great time talking with him about his yellow Yenko Camaro, wish I had bought it then. I have heard that the show has not been as good since the initial event, and haven't been back, but I continue to go to the Corvettes @ Carlisle show, will be there again this year. |
