Did all motors have the vin stamped on the block over the oil filter???

Nope. Around Jan. of 69 they appeared at the oil filter.

Charlie, I echo Kevin's question.

Overspray, and initial color on the LA Underbodies - always leads to debate. Seems like there are plenty of Norwood cars to ref, but LA https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif
Also, was the deck lid locking componet painted, or natural? How about the door strikers?

Orig wheels are gone but there was a set of full hubcaps in the trunk so I assume they were painted black. Floor under the car appears to be black. Floor inside the car is pretty much all blue including the floor plugs.

The floor in my LA 11B azure car is exactly the same

Sam, LA stamped the VIN by the oil filter at the start of production, then around Nov on the pad, and sometime late Feb, back down by the filter. However you are correct for Norwood built cars.
