If I put some clamps on either end and tighten them, then my sweating problem will go away? (Sounds kinda kinky to me! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif) |
Re: "Sweating" heater hoses???
I have a '68 Chevelle with the remote power steering resevoir mounted on the fender. The hose is factory GM, and when the weather was cool/cold it would "weep" through the rubber. Recently moved into our new home which has the radiant floor heat in the garage, and the problem went away.

Re: "Sweating" heater hoses???
Boy............................,
I meant liquid leaching through the rubber. But I guess I was wrong, since they apparently do it just sitting on the bench! The only hose I've had the problem with was the cheap Gates replacement upper radiator hose on the '09. (which is really the same hose they sell you for a SB. You just have to cut an inch off it.) Now, let's not have any kinky comments about me cutting off my hose...... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif |
