Small observation:

Anyone see anything odd about that endura RS nose on this car? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gifNot like any I've ever seen and certainly not like mine.

I know the RS setup is much heavier than the standard nose. All your Trans-Am and most drag racing guys opted for the standard front end with RS bumperettes based on the weight savings. It almost looks like a standard,non-RS chrome grille surround to me because the RS piece is about twice as deep as the standard piece.

Or is it just me... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

First of all John, it is a vintage all glass front end, just the way it was in '70. The "RS" nose illusion is created by pinstriping. It is not a seperate piece. The picture you're looking at has an odd perspective. The grill surround is much deeper than it appears. Thanks for your small observation. By the way, you should have seen his smile when he had Linda Vaughn leaning against the car for a picture.

My 70 Gibb car has standard glass front end and RS bumpers on it. That's the way it was built and raced. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Beautiful car, Mike, it looks like a great restoration! That's awesome having the heads on it that the Grump ran!
Thanks for sharing, will you bring it to SCR9?
