You may want to check out the new thread in this same section that Marlin started... as for the shifer, it was a 1969 Camaro Z28 hurst shifter with small block attaching bracket and big block shifter rods. This was the "round stick" style shifter, and the handle was the same one that was factory installed on 69 GTO's with a bench seat...the boot was the same as a 69 Camaro, with a black painted (not chrome) bezel. An odd mix of factory parts for sure!
As for the exhaust, I'm not sure about the muffler being the same as the camaro, but i do know the tailpipes were not the same, the nova pipes turned down behind the rear wheels, and did not exit out the back like a Z/28. The tips were not chrome. Gardner makes a nice exhaust for these cars, and takes alot of the guesswork out. I attached a pic of my exhaust exit location, of course its the same on both sides.
